Welcome to the Tiger Den

To become a Tiger Cub Scout, a boy must be either seven years of age or have completed Kindergarten.

As a Tiger Cub, you will be doing many exciting things throughout the year with your Tiger Cub Den, your Cub Scout Pack, as well as at home with your Family. The Tiger Cub program is based on the idea of Search, Discover, and Share. That is what you will be doing during your time as a Tiger Cub. You will Search out new activities, Discover new things, and Share them with others.

The trail to the Tiger Cub badge is broken down into five achievements, which are represented by tiger paw prints, and each achievement has three activities that must be completed. These activities are divided into categories which include: Family Activities, Den Activities, and Go See It Activities, which make a total of fifteen activities in all.

Once your scout has accomplished all fifteen activities, he may wear the Tiger Cub badge. These are awarded at the monthly Pack Meeting.

During his time as a Tiger Cub, your scout may also work on a wide array of Beltloops, which are broken down into the categories of Sports and Academics. These are also awarded at the monthly Pack Meeting.

  • Scout Day at the Play Station
Please read the announcement about this opportunity at the Play Station.

This is a council event, and not a Pack 214 event, therefore, you would be responsible for the cost listed below.  I would assume that the other cost would be the typical admission of $8.50 a person.

The Play Station would like to invited all of the Boy Scouts to our scout day on Sunday, January 10th, 2016 from 11am to 6pm! The scouts are able to get a special rate of $4.00 for the admission to get into the Play Station. All they need to do is show a badge or wear their scout vest!

Any additional questions can be forwarded to the Play Station by contacting them at
    (319) 373-1111.

    Thanks!
